We are collaborating on Hide and Seek, an immersive virtual reality experience written and directed by Fabienne Giezendanner.
Inspired by the true stories of Jewish and Roma children during the Second World War, the project explores how imagination and play can become powerful forms of resistance, resilience, and survival in the face of persecution.
Through the familiar game of hide-and-seek, the experience invites audiences to discover hidden memories and personal stories, blending historical testimonies, fiction, and interactive storytelling. The project offers a sensitive and immersive approach to collective memory, exploring the relationship between childhood, imagination, and the violence of history.
z1 studio contributes to the artistic and technical development of the experience, focusing on real-time 3D environments, interactive storytelling, and virtual reality production.
