Wnd — Audiovisual Performance

Wnd is an audiovisual performance exploring the relationship between physical and digital worlds, combining live filming, miniature scenography, and real-time generative imagery.

Originally created in 2024 at the invitation of the Grand Théâtre de Genève for Electrofaune 2, the project emerged from a collaboration with the Orchestre de Chambre de Genève and our longtime partners in crime, the band Tout Bleu.

At the heart of the project is a physical miniature landscape, filmed live and brought into dialogue with its digital counterpart. Through this interplay between a tangible model and its virtual double, Wnd explores the boundaries between materiality and simulation, reality and representation. The camera becomes an instrument of performance, navigating the miniature world while digital processes extend, transform, and reinterpret its imagery.

Since its premiere, Wnd has evolved into an independent audiovisual performance, now performed as a duo by Camille de Dieu and Laurent Novac. Together, we manipulate both the physical and virtual environments in real time, creating a constantly evolving dialogue between the two.

Blurring the distinction between what is filmed and what is generated, Wnd invites audiences into a shifting landscape where physical matter and digital imagery coexist, overlap, and transform one another.
